I adopted a hamster in December 2021. I was not sure after my last one if I would get another. I brought her home & she was very vocal (no others had been), imitating dogs, birds, etc. as well as letting me know if she wanted something. She died the end of January. I had taken her to the Vet. because she did not look well, upper respiratory infection and dehydrated, but still given a chance. Sadly, she only lived another five days. I Googled her breed, and her life span was only a year to a year and a half, so she lived her lifespan. She may have only been with me for a short time, but the sadness felt is the same as if I had her for a very long time. She did not like her photo taken, so this is only 1 of a few I have. Rest in Peace my pretty baby..
