Location
Photo was taken in the early evening just after the full moon rise at the harbour front. The little light housr was flashing it's red warning beacon and made for a nice reflection in the water along with the moon.Time
Early evening at about 7:30pm just as the moon was rising.Lighting
It was a calm but cold March evening with a very clear sky.Equipment
Shot with a Nikon D7100, 18-200 mm lens on a MeFoto tripod.Inspiration
I love going out during the full moon to capture the planet as it rises over the horizon. Some months I don't get any shots due to cloudy weather conditions. But this day was perfect.Editing
I always shoot in RAW format. Post process with either Lightroom 6 ot Luminar NEO.In my camera bag
It depends on what I am going out to shoot. But always have my Tamron wide angle 11-24mm, the Nikkor 18-200mm, and various ND filters from K&F concept. Sometimes the long lens Nikkor 200-500mm.Feedback
My only advice is to go out and shoot. Some days you will be just at the right place at the right time. Take your time and compose for interest.
