Location
This Image was taken on the main Shopping High Street in Windsor, not far from Windsor Castle. At the time this was taken I was new to Photography so was learning how to use the Camera still.Time
Not too sure what time exactly, I would say Mid morning if I can recall. It was quite busy on the Street at the TimeLighting
As I was still new to Photography, I didn't have any experience on what the lighting side of Photography was about. A case of "Point and Shoot" as I had an Image of what I wanted the final Image to look like.Equipment
Canon 600D with 18-55mm kit lens, no other equipment usedInspiration
I love Black and White images I think they have more impact on the Viewer, especially in this case the type of clothing she was wearing, she looked like a person from a different era, late 19th early 20th Century, hence why the color manipulation.Editing
I did use Post Processing which I knew I would be using as soon as the Image was taken, like I said before I knew what I wanted it to look like. I used a preset filter "Old Style Photo" to simulate Image taken before it's original time. Also cropped image to suit, no more modern shops. In my camera bag
Depends what I am Shooting, as I Iike to Photograph People normally from a Distance, so as to catch natural behaviour of the subject, I carry 75-250mm lens, 70-300mm lens but also like to use my 18-55mm if I need to be closer. As I am just an avid novice, unfortunately the Bank balance doesn't stretch to getting many more.Feedback
I don't really think I am qualified enough to give good technical advice, I would like to say though, you don't have to have the best Camera, Best lens in the world to capture great images, I have already won a National Photography competition using the equipment stated earlier. All images are good in their own right, depends who is looking at them, what you think may be a poor Image you have taken, someone will like it for a another reason. So, just be confident in your own ability whether you are a novice like my self or a paid Professional, and go with your gut feeling.
