Behind The Lens

Location

This photo was taken down in esperence in Western Australia on one of the many beaches in the national park

Time

This photo was taken around 3 pm in the afternoon just befor we headed off to the next photo opertunity

Lighting

At the time the sun was in the perfict spot and the waves crashed just at the right natural lite time of the day

Equipment

In this photo I used my nikon z50 I had at the time with my 70 to 300 mm f4 lens and these was taken hand held

Inspiration

At the time of this photo taken I was on the hunt for waves crashing against rocks and I seemed to be in the right spot at the right time with this one but what got me most of all was being able to capture it at the right time with the birds fling in and landing on the beach which gives this photo more caricature and this is the shot that I liked the most

Editing

This photo I edited a little bit through light room classic with a little exposure turned down and a bit of noise removed along with turning up some highlights and shadows

In my camera bag

My bag used to consist of alot of nikon gear but I have since moved to using a Canon 6d mii and love the quality this camera performs at I also carry a 35mm sigma 1.2 lens aswell as a 24-105 f4 use lens and 70-300mm f4.5 along with spare batries and sd cards and also filters for that harsh light and a trusti tripod and godox flashes for extra light

Feedback

Any one that would be trying to capture something like this my advice would be to be patient as the day goes wait for that right shot and be ready to grab a snap befor it passes it might take a few hours but defnatly don't give up the shot will come just when you least expect it stay focused aswell as mindfully and you will create a great memory
