This is my first assignment piece for my first ever photography course. I've done very little studio lighting before, so it was a huge learning curve. The piece represents my challenges with severe health issues over the last 3 years - in this case represented by the wilted roses. The shattered reflections are an analogy for my reflecting on what has been extremely disheartening, lonely, painful and depressing time as I've attempted to work through my health challenges.
