Behind The Lens

Location

I took this photo in my front yard in Cape Coral, Fl.

Time

It was in the early afternoon. The sun was shining and the sky was without a cloud.

Lighting

I didn’t have to do much about the lighting. The natural life was perfect for this shot.

Equipment

I used my Olympus E-M10 Mark V with the 40-150 lense.

Inspiration

I saw this little bee working hard, collecting pollen, while flying from flower to flower and thought this should be captured for the ages. ;-)

Editing

Yes, I used Photoshop and to adjust the White Balance.

In my camera bag

My mirrorless Olympus E-M10 Mark V, with the basic lense, the zoom lens and the macro lens. I also have my Nikon D5300 with basic lens and zoom lens packed.

Feedback

You need patience when photographing bees. They tend to move around very quickly, and by the time you have all the settings lined up for the shot, they often move on to the next flower, before you had a chance to push the trigger.
