A little egret fishing in shallow waters during recent floods

For this picture - taken with a 500mm lens - I had to lie on my belly in the middle of the gravel road while the little guy was crossing the road!

Birds from the arid western parts of South Africa. Males wet their breast feathers and fly many km to deliver water to chicks.

These zebras kept on walking away from me in stead of looking at me! I then decided to try this in camera and playing with depth of field.

This Black Maned Kalahari lion visited the waterhole at first light - drank for almost 8 minutes and gave me the perfect pose
