I took this photo a few years ago in late springtime at a swamp down in the Cuyahoga Valley National Park, in Peninsula, Ohio. This swamp is located behind the mobile home neighborhood my grandparents lived in for over 40 years before they passed away. My uncle who lived w-them and still occupies the home, used to take me and my sister on walks to see the hatching of the baby blue herons in the spring.
