Behind The Lens
Location
As an amateur photographer I like to photograph things in different ways. This photo was captured during an outing to a little Cove in a place called Bunker Bay. I loved how clear the water was.Time
I remember walking along the beach and looking at the rock pools trying to get an angle that would show how clear the water was. Thus photo was taken on the 8th January 2023 at 10: 30am.Lighting
The Australian summer is a great time to take photos. I just wanted to capture to clear water and how it would look through the lensball.Equipment
This photo was taken on a Nikon d3400 with a 18-400mm lens, no flash with an iso of 200. Also used a lensball purchased from Refractique.Inspiration
I love the beach and how the water lapping on the sand sounds. I find the beach or any body of water a great place to capture the colours and clarity of it.Editing
Beach photos can be hard due to the lighting and distance you took the photo at. With this picture, I cropped it to make the lensball the focal point and then applied a lightroom presetting to it.In my camera bag
I have two camera bag set ups, one with all of my equipment and just a go bag with my camera, lensball, extra battery and I take my tripod with me too.Feedback
The best advice I can give to anyone wanting to try this is.... have fun, make mistakes, photograph the water from different angles and see where it takes you
