This was shot off one side of the track leading down to Hopetoun falls in the Great Otways national park, off the Great Ocean Road, Victoria Australia. Unlike most rainforests, this one is in a temperate climate and prefers cooler weather to the warmth of the tropics. These tree ferns grow in abundance all over this region and make for lovely capture with the camera. If you are ever in Australia, taking the great ocean road and the great Otway national park in as part of the trip, will be well worth the effort as you will get some stunning rain forests and amazing cliffs and southern ocean views.
