On the island of Symi there are quite a few abandoned houses, many just ruins from the bombing at the end of World War II. Some, like this, once a prestigous building, a masion belonging to a prosperous merchant or seacaptain… the remaining skeleton thrills the fantasy and the different layers and colours on the walls gives an idea of how it once looked.
