Behind The Lens
Location
This photo was taken at a beach in my hometown Moss, Norway. The beach is shallow during low tides and as waves come in some beautiful lines appear. Using motion made those lines stronger and gave the water a new form which I fell in love with.Time
It was taken at sunset, so the shades and colors could pop out more.Lighting
There were no clouds during the sunset, which I usually want, but in this case it fit the abstract and minimalistic feeling.Equipment
Cannon EOS 800D with the kit lens. Set at 55mm. Also used a CPL-filter from Gobe.Inspiration
I love abstract photos of water. It gives the element a whole new form and shape.Editing
I boosted the contrast with some dehaze for the most part. And boosted the textures. The rest mostly came out of the moment it’s self.In my camera bag
A tripod, 2 lenses, filters and my camera. Lens wipes and a brush to clean the filters and lenses with.Feedback
Use a shutter speed around 1/8 or 1/4 of a second. And move horizontally by hand or tripod.
