Location
This photo was taken in Ocean City, New Jersey behind my Shore House on the bay.Time
This was taken right before sunset. I wanted to capture the warm colors of the sun beaming off the ground and the reflection of Sky in the water.Lighting
I just love how the colors of the Sky reflect on the ground.Equipment
This was taken on the Mavic mini drone.Inspiration
In light of the pandemic and not being able to travel around the world I decided to travel locally and almost virtually thanks to the Mavic mini drone, to experience my home area from above. I also have Always been curious to know what the wetlands look like since I am unable to reach this area by foot. It’s amazing how we are always on the run to experience new places but often forget the beauty that exists at home. I just started to get into Drone photography because it’s different. It shows you the world from a different perspective, the view most people don’t get to see.Editing
I really didn’t have to edit this photo too much since I thought it came out great. All I did was tweak the colors just a tad bit and sharpened the photo to show the details of the marshs. In my camera bag
I always have my Nikon D7500 with me along with my 18-140mm VR lens, 70-300mm VR lens, and my 105mm micro lens. I also have the Mavic Mini drone.Feedback
This type of capture would require either a drone or a place where you’re high enough to photograph the ground from above. If you’re thinking about getting into Drone Photography I highly suggest it! It’s worth the view.
