Getting close to the water birds is very difficult task in the daylight. Somehow I could manage to approach close with the help of the bushes. I had to give some time to the birds to settle down. The black-winged stilt is a very shy bird and generally they roam with groups. Black-winged Stilts feed mainly on aquatic insects, but will also take molluscs and crustaceans. In this image a lone Stilt was wading in the shallow water and looking for food. With the help of the long beak, it try to search food from the water. Capture this image while the stilt on action as it dip into the water. While doing so they generally moves, so difficult to catch them in lens.
