Thank you very much! It was most certainly for an iPhonephotographer a wonderful surprise!

Location
I took this photo at the Kennedy Center in Washington DC while visiting the "National Symphony Musical Instrument Petting Zoo" for kids attending an afternoon performance. I walked outside to take in the first hint of Spring in Washington DC and before the "stay-at-home" order in the Nation's capital, to enjoy the fresh air and strolling visitors.Time
It was in the early afternoon, the early March air was fresh, the trees were beginning to bud and the temperature was headed up in a typical overcast March afternoon in Washington DC.Lighting
The light played almost no part in this image. I was interested in the distinctive, vibrant yellow of the man's shoes, and the geometry of the striped pattern that made them stand out amongst all the other shoes I saw outside the rather staid Kennedy Center foot traffic!Equipment
I used my iPhone 11 Pro Max.....which was readily available in my coat pocket.Inspiration
This music lover stood out amongst all the other outside strollers that afternoon for the smashing color statement he made. I asked him if I could take a photo of his shoes and he responded in the affirmative with a totally perplexed look--"Why would you be interested in my shoes?" he asked to nobody in particular--and then told me to take all the photos I wanted.Editing
I immediately went for a black background, removing the extraneous "noise" of the wandering tourists, slightly overcast day and the surrounding foliage that had not yet been prepared for Spring. My intent was to highlight those shoes and I achieved my objective. In my camera bag
My iPhone 11 Pro Max--in my jacket pocket.Feedback
As an iPhone photographer, I have found that my interest for the odd "slice of life" that contrasts with my surroundings is a viewpoint that seems to speak to me more than it does to those with more training and experience in photography, and those using what "they" say is a "real" camera. I offer, therefore, no advice to other photographers and seek every opportunity I can to learn from them.
