I took this portrait while on photoshoot with beautiful Weronika when we were just finishing the session for that day (we did some levitation photos as far as I remember), it was on a balcony of the studio we were working in.Time
Just before golden hour.Lighting
Nope, it was pretty harsh sunlight.Equipment
handheld Leica M typ 262 + Summicron 50mm ver 4 that I borrowed, shot with available light only with wall on the right acting as fill light.Inspiration
The light was lovely, my wonderful model Weronika was a bit tired after few hours of shooting so her expression naturally went to picturing melancholy and I just took this one on a whim, nothing special to be honest, I only happened to click the shutter ;PEditing
Just a bit of FS + color grading. In my camera bag
Nowadays I carry around Lumix S1R with Lumix 24-70mm f/2.8 for stills, but other than that my everyday carry camera is FujiFilm X100V. I take this little gem almost everywhere.Feedback
Portraits are simple, just talk with the person that's in front of your lens about the mood you want to convey with resulting picture and be observant of the surroundings and how light works with your scene. I also don't recommend taking over 9000 shots of similar frame, this was one of maybe 3-5 captures on the balcony I snapped that day ;P ( I needed to be sure of focus because my camera malfunctioned on the shoot)
