Location
This photo was taken in our backyard garden.Time
I took this photo moments after a rain storm one Saturday afternoon in early May of this year. The grey was lifting but the sun hadn't quite taken over yet,Lighting
The shy was still overcast from the early afternoons rains that had stopped. The sun was starting to brighten the sky and the garden as I took this picture.Equipment
I shot this with a Sony Alpha 200 (a200) with Minolta Maxxum 28-85mm lens and a big water proof safety jacket as a ground sheet.Inspiration
I took the photo as part of a 30 day picture a day challenge.Editing
This image had a little colour correction in Capture One Express for Sony to enhance the green tones. In my camera bag
I carry the Sony a200 with the Minolta Maxxum 28-85mm lens and a similar vintage Vivatar Series 1 28-300 zoom. As the camera uses the older style Compact Flash (CF) memory cards, I carry a USB to CF reader, and spare CF cards.Feedback
I enjoy getting close to the flowers for these images and waiting for the light.
