Location
This is a view of the staircase which winds up The Rookery building redesigned by Frank Lloyd Wright, in Chicago.Time
It was midday, during a guided tour of the building.Lighting
FLW was a master of light. You will not be disappointed trying to find light in this building.Equipment
It was handheld without flash, looking upward into the staircase.Inspiration
It was actually my wife who suggested I take the photo when she looked up into it.Editing
Yes, I used Lightroom to bring out the tones and adjusted with split-toning.In my camera bag
Camera body and a couple of lenses.Feedback
All viewing is guided if you want to get to the upper floors to take something similar. Increase your ISO and accept grain. In my opinion, the grain adds to the character of it.
