Behind The Lens

Location

I made this photo on my dinner table using christmass decoration as a background.

Time

It was about 4 PM, outside was dark and candles on table made great mood.

Lighting

I've decided, that candles light will be great background for main object. I used light from the wall to expose front of Agfa camera.

Equipment

This was made with Nikon D7100 with 50mm f/1.8 on tripod, without flash.

Inspiration

I received this classic camera for Christmas from my father and I decided to immortalize his perfect condition in this beautiful way.

Editing

I made only basic correction of exposure, contrast and selective tone.

In my camera bag

Normally I have in my bag Nikon D7100 body with Nikkor 50mm f/1.8, Tamron 17-50mm f/2.8, Tamron 16-300mm f/3.5-6.3 Di II, two youngnuo flashlights and Nikon D3100 as a backup body.

Feedback

You can use candle light to make beautiful moody lighting on your picture. You will receive a natural glow, that will make your photo little bit a mysterious.
