Location
The photograph was taken in the highlands of Scotland, we had watched the sunset on previous evenings but on this evening the light was just right.Time
The image was captured just before the sun went down, the golden hour.Lighting
The lighting was all natural, it was just a case of being patient and waiting for the right moment.Equipment
The equipment used for the capture was a Nikon D810, coupled to a Nikkor 24 - 70 f2.8, all sat upon a manffotto tripod.Inspiration
I enjoy all types of photography but landscapes currently inspire me the most.Editing
There was very little post processing a small amount of cropping and a tweak of contrast. In my camera bag
I normally carry with me my trusty Nikon D3s and D810 bodies, along with my 14 - 24 nikkor f2.8 and a 24 - 70 f2.8.Feedback
In landscape photography good lighting is essential and patience is also a requirement along with great composition. When all the above fall into place then a stunning image should be the end result.
