Behind The Lens

Location

This was taken at the entrance to Aberdeen harbour in Scotland

Time

It was taken in the afternoon from the low vantage point on the small amount of beach that was available.

Lighting

It was a dull windy day with difficult lighting conditions

Equipment

Taken with a Nikon D3300 hand held 1/160 sec f7.1 50mm ISO 100

Inspiration

I enjoy taking stormy days, so when the conditions suit and I am able I like to get out.

Editing

Small amount of post processing, contrast and highlight adjustments.

In my camera bag

18-55mm lens, 18-200 lens and a 70-300 lens, remote switch and cleaning cloths.

Feedback

Choose your spot and just keep clicking waves are unpredictable in strength, once you have a set rolling in be prepared to take lots of photos.
