It was taken in a pasture on the north side of my home in Ohio. A large branch had fallen from a older cherry tree and the hawk was setting on the top of the branchTime

the lighting was slightly overcastEquipment
35mm camera with a 85-200 lens. I had started from a distance of 50 yards and slowly kept moving closer taking pictures as I approached. The hawk kept watching me. The picture was taken about 15' from bird when I decided that was close enough.Inspiration
