Location
In a abandoned farm house...which are harder and harder to find without NO TRESSPASSING signs all over. One of the few I know about.Time
About mid afternoon.Lighting
Natural light is always the best..I seldom shoot with a fill or flash. I will use lighting in my studio.Equipment
Probably shooting a Minolta Maxxum 700si or 8000i camera at this time. Now days I shoot with a Sony A 99Inspiration
I knew this young women since she was a baby..so it was a very comfortable shoot for both of us. At this time she was living in Minneapolis. On the streets...riding a high top bike. She was home for a few days and we ran into each other...this was a very spontaneous shoot...She is a women with an open, natural, and uninhibited manner. Which I think comes through in the photo.Editing
noneIn my camera bag
I have one lens usually now days..a wide zoom..16-300 Tamron.. Not sure what I had in the bag that day..but I am not one to carry a lot of equipment or to use a lot of different lens. I usually go out with just the one lens now days. I used to carry more...but find that with the 16-300 I get what I want..Feedback
With nudes and semi nudes..and probably in general..the more comfortable the session is for a model the better chance you have of getting a great photo. I seldom need to direct a good model...and I never require a model to do nudes. That is always the choice of the model.
