The photo was taken in my home. I experimented with a new speedlight and this is the result.Time
It is an weekend evening.Lighting
The room was dark, and I wanted to get an expressive look with a good glare, so I used a flash. The white ceiling gave a stunning highlight, soft shadows with good texture.Equipment
His was shot on a Canon 60D, with an 17-40mm f/4L lens, Canon580EX-II speedlight.Inspiration
I liked the cheerful but all the same tired look of the son who returned from the holiday. The camera in hand was very handy. I just caught this moment.Editing
I use RAW when shooting and always process photos with converters such as C1 or more often Lightroom. If necessary, I make adjustments in Photoshop. In my camera bag
I really love my current Fujifilm XT-20 camera with a Fujinon XF 18-55mm F2.8-4 R LM OIS lens. This is a very light and small but high quality setup. If required I add 7artisans 7,5mm F2.8 fisheye and 7artisans 55mm F1.4 lenses to it. Sometimes I take a small tripod or flash with me.Feedback
Look carefully around even in the most ordinary situation. Keep your camera ready and capture the moment. Many attempts will definitely give results.
