The Shuttleworth Collection 2017.
Lovingly constructed by brothers David and Rick Bremner, this aircraft was built in the memory of their Grandfather, Fl Sub Lt "Bunnie" Bremner who flew Scout "1264" in the Eastern Mediterranean, where he served with the Royal Naval Air Service. Though she is a reproduction she contains various parts of the original machine, known to be the last parts of any Bristol Scout in existence. In June of 2016 the aircraft was crated up and shipped to Thassos and flew from the actual airfield that Fl Sub Lt "Bunnie" Bremner had flown from 100 years earlier. This was the first time in nearly a century that a rotary engine had been fired up in this part of the world.
She is currently the sole flyable Bristol Scout in the world today.
