This particular bull, while aware of my presence, as well as that of a dozen other tourists and photographers, was interested only in eating. As it was, the vast majority of my time that day was spent watching him with his face in the dirt, and lamenting a lack of quality shot opportunities. Then, no sooner did he lift his head to look around, and the sun came out from behind a cloud to destroy the soft, evening light I had hoped would stay.
I summarily dismissed this image as too harsh and contrasty. On a later review, I decided to give it a go and mellowed it out quite to my satisfaction.
