Location
This photo is taken in Costa del Sol, Malaga, Spain. That´s a wonderful place for holydays, and fot taking photos, of course. Incredible beaches, castles, mountains, interesting old towns... a paradise.Time
At night, just waiting for the moon to be in the right place.Lighting
I looked for a dark place in the beach, far from the town lights not to get light pollution, behind a rock formation and with rocks in the waterEquipment
Camera Sony A99 full frame. Lens Sigma 24 70 HSM, my favourite all-around lens.Inspiration
I wanted to catch the magical light typical of Costa del Sol at night, I tried several different exposure times. I wanted the moon to be sharp but the water to have some silky mood. Every time the sea is different.Editing
Typical adjust in lightroom, specially for darks and bright lights and imagenomic denoise. In my camera bag
I use 2 cameras, Sony A99 for studio or serious work, and Sony NEX7 for street photo. This time was A99. Lenses: Sigma 24 70 HSM for general purpose zoom. Sigma art 50mm 1.4 for portraits and low light, Sigma 12-24 HSM for landscapes. For macro Minolta 100 macro 2.8. And the usual field tripod and a 64 led beam for add some light if necessary.Feedback
Simply, go to the Costa del Sol and let your istinct take the photos, is impossible to get there and not to catch beautiful shots.
