Location
This photo was taken at the Victoria Peak in Hong KongTime
This was shot early in the morning around 5-5:30 AM just in time for the sunriseLighting
Victoria Peak is a very busy spot for tourists in Hong Kong. We went up very early around 4:30 am to beat the crowd. When we where there we had the place to ourselves and marvelled at the colours if the morning light.Equipment
I used the Nikon D800 with a Rokinon Tilt-shift lens mounted on a Benro tripod.Inspiration
Victoria Peak is one of the iconic places in Hong Kong where you will have a magnificent panoramic view of the city. Its is one of the must go places for photographers who would want to capture the skyline amidst the sunrise background.Editing
This was a two-shot stitch. I combined the shots in Photoshop then color toned it to accentuate the beautiful colors of the sunrise. In my camera bag
I always have the Nikon D800 as my main camera. I always have the tilt-shift lens, a Nikkor 10-24 lens and a Nikkor 24-70 lens. I also bring my filter set, triggers and tripod.Feedback
When planning to shoot famous places like this. Always go very early to beat the crowd so you will be able to capture and enjoy the place by yourself.
