Behind The Lens

Location

Sioux Falls, South Dakota, were I grew up the last half of my life.

Time

Late evening, past 7pm.

Lighting

The golden hour was just approaching as I captured this last sequence of skids.

Equipment

Lumix fz300, tripod

Inspiration

Seeing transitional photos of action sports that show the entire sequence.

Editing

Layering of separate images to create the entire sequence. Highlight adjustments to bring out the blue sky and clouds.

In my camera bag

Digital bridge camera, 35mm film camera bodies and lenses.
