Location

This photo was taken in Ohio at Talita Springer Photography studio.

Time

Photo was taken early in the morning on a beautiful Saturday.

Lighting

Iighting used was a beautiful and balanced mix of artificial light and natural light.

Equipment

Image was shot with a Nikon D4 and sigma art 50mm.

Inspiration

What inspired to do this shit was my clients story. She struggled with infertility and had a few miscarriages. They finally decided to proceed with adoption. They begin fostering this beautiful little girl and they were blessed with a rainbow and miracle pregnancy. They contacted me, shared their story and how special this session would be for them. I wanted to create something unique and magical to not only tug them at heart but to tell their story of their miracle baby. A beautiful and bright rainbow follows a storm and gives hope of things getting better. This is their rainbow after all the storm they endured!

Editing

This image was created with a combination of both in studio image as well as in photoshop through image manipulation to create an image with rainbow flowers.

In my camera bag

My must have items are my Nikon cameras, Nikon 70-209 and my sigma art 50mm. I also carry at least 2 memory cards for each camera, a Nikon flash and my expo disc card for the perfect color balance.

Feedback

My advice for anyone hoping to achieve similar shots is to prepare, plan the shot ahead of time and let your creativity speak. Most importantly, have fun creating it!!
