Location
I've taken this photo in my hometown, Balatonfüred, Hungary. Balatonfüred is a spa town on Lake Balaton’s north shore. There is a State Hospital of Cardiology what dates from the 1870s. The promenade is named after the Nobelist Indian Poet, Rabindranath Tagore who was healed in autumn 1926 in the Hospital. On the beginning of the promenade, his memorial tree and statue can be seen. Following his idea, several famous people planted trees there.Time
It was about 10 o'clock on a very foggy morning in November. I wanted to take some foggy pics of the Lake Balaton. When I arrived at the Tagore Promenade I could see only some meters in front of me. Then slowly it became lighter, and suddenly the Sun broke the fog. I turned back and could see, that the beginning of the promenade is still in the fog. I took the picture.Lighting
The lighting was really a wonder for me. In front of me the sunny sight, behind me still the fog.Equipment
I used only my camera. There was no time for any other equipment. I was happy to catch the moment.Inspiration
The wonder of nature in a beautiful place and season.Editing
Yes. Some more contrast, saturation, sharpen on leaves, unsharpen on tree-trunks.In my camera bag
Nowadays an Olympus E-620 Camera.Feedback
I could advice: keep your camera on your neck. Not in your bag. The wonders take only a second. Catch it! :)
