This photo was taken in Hong Kong.

Afternoon shoot.

Lighting

Lighting for this shot was a 4 light set up . 1 main with 40 inch beauty dish , 2 side fills with long strip box each gridded & a rear gridded spot with blue gel pointed facing the black back drop.

Equipment

Nikon D800. Lens various bit mainly the Sigma Art Lens Series.

Inspiration

This photo is a test shot . While waiting for the model to show up at the studio , I wanted to test the lighting setup so I asked my Make up artist Kelly to stand in for the shot. I liked the light so I asked her to cover one side of her face with her hair just for fun . Presto we came up with a cool shot !

Editing

Simple Post Processing, minimal .
