Location
The photo was taken near my hometown, Kikinda (Serbia). Only fields are surrounding Kikinda, but those were the best choice for this photo session and its atmosphere.Time
On a cold winter day (around noon) we decided to make those ideas come to life, even though it was very windy. It turned out the wind was the perfect associate.Lighting
I love natural lighting. No matter if it is sunny or cloudy, you can always take the best of it, and turn it into good atmospheric photos.Equipment
I used Nikon D5000 and my favourite lens, Nikkor 50mm 1.4 G.Inspiration
If anybody can look at this photo and some story appears in his/her mind, my goal is accomplished. I like to imagine a moment and to create the composition, inspired by feelings and different influences, phases in life. In this case, I wanted to show the feeling of nostalgia, to try to represent the time passing by. Winter and wind seemed to be the biggest inspiration.Editing
Tatjana, the model, was holding those flowers. As the wind blew, some petals flew away. So it gave me the idea to clone some extra petals, to improve the impact of depth of field and the feeling of movement. In my camera bag
Recently I bought Nikon D750, but I still have Nikon D5000, I guess from sentimental reasons. Lenses: Nikkor 50mm 1.4G, Nikkor 18-35mm, Nikkor 18-105mm and Nikkor 55-300mm. Flash: Nikon SB-700 Manfrotto tripod, reflectorsFeedback
Every season of the year has its benefits, try to get the most of it, according to ideas, feelings, situations... I am sure that, no matter where you live, you can always find inspiration in the landscapes surrounding you, in people, colours, etc. During winter time, wind, fog or snow can be great part of your own personal world you are willing to capture.
