Kept coming back to this photo I'm trying to find fault with it and I can't.

Location
This shot was taken at my home studio in London. I was approached by a model who wanted to enter a beauty pageant compitition "Miss Russia UK" she ended up winning 3rd place and won an all inclusive trip to Dubai.Time
The shot was taken at 11pm. I had two clients that day. The model had loads of energy. I had hip hop music playing in the background to keep the mood up. I hope my neighbors did not mind.Lighting
I shot this image quite early on in my career. At the time I only had one strobe. I used a 600 Godox strobe with a square Godox reflector 73c -for the fill I used a silver reflector to give the highlights a bit of a punch.Equipment
Believe it or not I used a canon 650D with 50mm kit lense. At the time I only used film. The client wanted digital prints. I borrowed my father in laws camera and and shot away. The sensor was a cropped and it was my first time shooting digital.Inspiration
I'm a huge fan of Richard Avedon's work. I wanted to capture his style. I wanted to capture the glamour.Editing
My wife is my photo editor. We did simple retouching on the face. And turned the image black and white. We played around with dodge and burn techniques. In my camera bag
Now that I am shooting digital and film. I used a Nikon D700 with a 24-70 2.8 and for film I use a Nikon f5. They are my work horse cameras. I love the use of flash. I carry around a SB 24 flash.Feedback
I try to move around as much as I can when I am photographing. I go high, I go low. I always speak to the model while I snap away. I always make sure I get the catch light I want before I shoot. I love bouncing strobe lighting off the reflector and playing with shadows. I try to be in the moment as much as possible.
