Location
On a whale watch near Cape Cod. We saw a mother and calf at a distance. While spending nearly the entire time looking through the viewfinder, suddenly the mother practically flew out of the water while her calf surfaced briefly and then dived back under.. Thrilled to capture the breach and dive simultaneously. The captain said the whales were so active presumably due to a hurricane in the middle of the Atlantic.Time

If one is in it for the photos, keep your eye in the viewfinder. Or, sit back and enjoy and hope there's time to snap a few.
