This photo was taken 2 miles from my home! It was early morning and my late husband woke me up and said get your camera because we are going for a drive so that you can take some picsTime
It was 8:30 a.m. and we had a freshly new fallen snow and it was a heavy beautiful kind of snow! The kind that sticks to the trees and bushes!Lighting
Of course with snow the lighting was perfect and I left it on the snow setting!Equipment
I took this with my canon 7d and I did not use a flash or tripod I rested it on the door of my car!Inspiration
My late husband was the one that inspired me and it's such a cherished moment to have shared with him! He was diagnosed with cancer and passed two months later! This day and the pictures I took our very special to me! It was a gift from God and I will always be thankful for that day!Editing
I didn't do any post processing and it was a spur of the moment thing! In my camera bag
I have 5 canons right now and I use all of them! I have two canon PowerShot sx50s, a canon PowerShot sx60 a lumix point and shoot and a canon 6d with two lens and flash and lots of batteries and chargersFeedback
I believe I had help from up above and Nature for this special picture but I would advise anyone that is a pro or not like me to enjoy the beauty of the outdoors and it really helps if your partner believes in you and praises you for your passion and understands the sudden stops and unexpected things that you may find just driving down a country road! West Virginia is a beautiful state to do that in and it really is great for someone like me with depression and anxiety problems! I am blessed!
