This is one of my favorite photos on Viewbug. Was this a single shot?

Location
The photo was taken in my kitchen and the photo of me was taken in my living room.Time
I started to shoot this photo around 1pm in the afternoon. I was bored and there wasn't much to do so out came the camera and away I went!Lighting
As I shot the background using natural light and me in a different room of the house using flash I just had to mimic the angle of the light with the flash. I did this using 1 Nikon SB-900 speed light through a 32" white shoot through umbrella to soften the shadows.Equipment
This was shot on a Nikon D7000 using a Tokina 10-17mm fisheye mounted on a tripod. Lighting was a Nikon SB-900 speed light mounted to a 32" shoot through umbrella.Inspiration
This was an image that popped into my head a while back whilst holding more than I could carry from the kitchen. I thought to myself "imagine if I tripped". That gave me the idea for this shot.Editing
As this is a composite photo it did have a fair bit of post processing in Photoshop. I photographed me, the biscuits, the mug of tea and the plate all separately then cut each item out in Photoshop and added them to their own layer and positioned them. I used dodge and burn techniques to retouch the skin a little and some adjustment layers to give the image it's look and feel.In my camera bag
Usually in my bag I take my D7000, Sigma 18-50mm, Nikon 85mm 1.8 and a fisheye. Always have my tripod with me and at least one flash.Feedback
Plan your image. Think about each element in it that you need to photograph. Think about the angle of light that's in the background image and how you would go about mimicking that with flash. Pay attention to the camera angle and height and make sure you have the same age etc when photographing the other elements. This will help them all fit together and then sell your image that bit more.
