Behind The Lens

Location

I took this photo is Glacier National Park, MT. It shows the Salamander glacier with the black diorite stripe of rock stretching across the entirety of the mountain range.

Time

This photo was taken in the morning when everything was still and there wasn't a ripple on the lake yet.

Lighting

Just another beautiful day in paradise. The weather in Glacier National Park changed about five times a day and always made the scenery exciting to shoot

Equipment

Just used my small Nikon camera

Inspiration

Was just on a short walk to clear some drains on the trail and luckily had my camera in my pack. It was just such a calm peaceful scene I had to capture it. I worked in Glacier as a horseback riding guide so I saw this view everyday but it still amazed me.

Editing

Nope.

In my camera bag

As far as camera gear goes, just my camera.

Feedback

My best advice is I go to places where it is so beautiful it is impossible to take a bad photo. :)
