Location
The photo was taken in an old water tank, in the Sahara Desert.Time
Winter morning, at about 10 AM.Lighting
100% natural light.Equipment
Shot with a Panasonic GH1 with 14-140mm/F4.0-5.8 lens. The camera was standing on the edge of the tank in a travel tripod (Hama Traveller Mini Pro).Inspiration
This was an opportunity shot. I saw some locals jumping and I didn't have many time, so I set up the camera and jumped (that's right, I'm also the one jumping).Editing

I love to travel light, I know I won't get the best picture but if I had to be worried about a huge amount of fancy equipment, travelling would be less enjoyable.Feedback
When taking pictures of people jumping lower your shutter speed and talk to the jumper. This is very important, especially when there are not many chances of getting the shot. The natural approach when jumping is not the one that will get the best photograph, let's face it, nobody jumps like I did, the picture looks cool but the landing is hard. So try to convince the jumper to do it in an expresive way, always jumping upwards or forwards as far as possible.
