Behind The Lens

Location

This photo was taken in studio produced for a copyright trial with the name dress milk, several photos were made with milk and decided to use some with water, and the angel appeared last minute.

Time

This test made in an afternoon, we produce the model with a light makeup and waterproof so that did not retouch. We put in the position that we imagine and asked for the model to stay as still as possible, because we would have to do the same photo multiple times.

Lighting

I used to make lighting two clipping lights directed from the bottom to the model with two small Lyght hazzy, and in front colocoquei one hazzy 1.20 to give a uniform light and cover the whole body of the model, nothing as sophisticated, but the basic teh works.

Equipment

I used the Canon 5D Mark II, three 200w flash heads each lens 24 ~ 70 f 4.0, three hazzy, tripod for the camera, flashmeter, macbook pro, and creativity.

Inspiration

My inspiration came from a German photographer who did some tests with paint, so I decided to use the colored milk and water instead of ink.

Editing

The post processing was the imposition of the images, I made a photo of the naked model, 4 pictures to assemble the wing, made several clicks to get to 4 pictures that would make the wings, two photos to make home side skirt in front and two photos to the skirt in the back, in total there were about 200 clicks to get the result I expected, selected the images did the overlap of them in photoshop and the wing repeat espelahando the image,

In my camera bag

I carry with me always two 5D Mark II, lens, 50mm f 1.4, 85mm f 1.8, 24 ~ 70 f2.8, f4.0 24 ~ 105, 70 ~ 200 f4.0, 3 falsh 580 EXII, two LEDs, flashmeter, batteries , batteries, gray card, GoPro.

The copyright photograph makes us think and rethink the concepts and photographic techniques, I am very pÃ©cnico and creative, so we always advise you to study hard on photometry, using flashmeter, lighting, speed, so that when they are practicing to gain time and to come always quick the expected result, and seek inspiration in others, there are great photographers around the world.
