After going through our closet we found our kimono's and decided to see if could emulate an idea we saw while walking through Tokyo.

Behind The Lens

Location

It was taken on a small island off of Okinawa Japan called Miyako Jima. There was a Hurricane coming so the water was starting to get really rough.

Time

It was about 3 in the afternoon there.

Lighting

The skies were overcast since there was a hurricane coming to island. So nothing special.

Equipment

Canon 5D MKII with a Tamaron Zoom Lens

Inspiration

I was just out taking pictures of my visit to the island. This just happened to be one of my favorites from that set.

Editing

I misjudged the shutter speed so I did brighten up the photo a bit.

In my camera bag

5DMKII and a standard Zoom lens
