Behind The Lens

Location

I was visiting my friends Amanda & Kolton in La Grange, Texas (yes, the ZZ Top La Grange) and this photo was snapped from their front porch.

Time

This was taken in the Golden Hour. Roughly 5-7pm.

Lighting

The lighting was all natures doing on this one. I saw the way the golden setting sun cast amazing shadows & had to grab my camera.

Equipment

Just my trusty Canon EOS Rebel T4i & a Canon 18-55mm kit lens.

Inspiration

We were sitting and talking on my friends front porch, and as the sun set it kept getting more & more beautiful, until I could not resist & had to run to the car & grab my camera.

Editing

I did some light editing in Adobe Lightroom Mobile IOS.

In my camera bag

I shoot on my Canon EOS Rebel t4i. I tend to shoot the most with my Canon Zoom lens 70-300mm. But I always have a Canon 18-55mm Zoom lens.

Feedback

Always keep a sharp eye out for something beautiful to happen around you. Which also requires you to have your camera near so you can capture things on the fly.
