Location
I took this photo while touring Norway. The legends of this country say that these forests are inhabited by creatures called Trolls.Time
The time of day when I took the photograph would be around 16:00 in the afternoon. In Norway it gets dark very early and that is why you can see a light that transmits mystery.Lighting
For me it is better to look for natural lights because it is the way to show objects and environments in their purest form. I always try to tend more towards dark photographs because an excessively illuminated photograph will never be improved in post-production.Equipment
For this photograph I only used my wide angle lens (10-18mm) to better capture the illuminated path between the trees.Inspiration
With this photograph I tried to capture the magic and mystery hidden in the great forests of northern Norway. That wild nature where human beings have never been.Editing
The photograph has a small edit in Photoshop. Only the curves and the lighting. In my camera bag
I always carry in my bag a large and a small tripod, several lenses (50mm, 10-18mm and 55-250mm), filters, charger, batteries, insulating cover for the rain, remote control and gloves for the cold.Feedback
I always try to get away from the most photographed and touristy places. I look for new spaces and points of view (I put the camera on the ground or prop it up on a log). And most importantly, be faithful to what the camera shows: Do not abuse the editing.
