Location
This photo was taken at a wedding in Redcliffe, Australia in September.Time
The image was taken around golden hour so around 3pm to 4pmLighting
I wanted to get a reflection of the light on the car to indicate that the sun was behind me. Also, i wanted there to be a nice gradient from light to shadow down the vehicle so i angled myself in a standing position.Equipment
I used a Canon 1200D camera and later edited it in Lightroom Classic.Inspiration
I was hired to photograph a wedding and I was over getting ready to captured the bride exiting the vehicle and this image was a test shot.Editing
I changed the colour profile to Vintage 04 and increased the highlights and shadows and warmed the image for a vintage/rustic vibeIn my camera bag
I typically carry my camera body,18-55mm lens, 70-300mm lens, 2 batteries, 3 SD cards, photography sphere and battery charger.Feedback
Figure out what angle you like and just how much of the subject you want in the frame then figure out the lighting and snap. Make sure to test and change until you are pleased with the result
