Location
This photograph was taken in Rhode Island, USA.Time
Shot was taken mid day I wanted nice even lighting for this shot.Lighting
I used photo pills to get the sun exactly where I needed him to be.Equipment
I used a DJI Mavic 2 Pro drone to achieve this photo,Inspiration
I have seen many variations of this type of photo, but I wanted to try something more vertically parallel to make it my own.Editing
Yes lots of post production work, since I live in the north east the beaches here don't offer the same beautiful sand and water as florida and the bahamas. So i knew i had to get creative, i applied 2 gradual filters and a radial filter in this photo to help isolate the colors i wanted to change to really make this photo pop.In my camera bag

Yes, the best thing I can tell you is find inspiration through other photographers and put your own stamp on it, because no one like a copy cat. Use google earth and photo pills to scout out locations and time when the sun is out, you will avoid wasting your time by doing so, find a model (your subject) thats willing to work with you and understands your idea. I recommend spending a lot of time in post production DONT BE AFRAID TO FAIL, finding out what all the sliders do and dont do for you. To many people wanna be done in 15 min and buy presets, the best advice i can give is learn to develop your own creatve license thats how youll stand out from the sea of people amoung the photography world.
