On the day before yesterday, I took a photo of this mega-Dandelion-looking-weed seed head with my iPhone and posted it on FB. Yesterday, I took my camera in the hopes of taking a better image of the same seed head. By the time I found it, only a fraction of the seeds remained. In addition, I had brought with me only a single lens . . . which turned out to be my wide-angle lens! So that's what I used! Go figure! After an internet search, I'm thinking this might be a plant known as Wild Salsify.

It could have been worse, Sue... you could have had a full-frame camera coupled with the wide angle lens, LOL! Great photo!

Thanks so much, Mary . . . as I said, I brought the wide-angle with me by mistake. I did, however, photograph most of a wedding using the wide-angle lens. ッ
