Most people think that lions only can tolerate warm weather, not true.Editing

When I photograph zoos I carry 2 cameras on a sling. Nikon D750 with Tamron 150-600 to focus past the fencing and Nikon D7200 with Nikon 24-120 to shoot open habitats and large animals.Feedback
Any lens over 300-350 can focus through fencing. Zoo animals don't always find themselves in the most convenient spots for a good pose so be patient and make frequent visits. Try to get to know the animal's behavior.
