How did the bubble come about? Were you on a boat? That is just too cool!

Location
I took this photo wandering around Nudgee beach at low tide. There are pockets of water still around and the sand spans on my miles.Time
It was as the sun was setting and my husband had taken me out to the beach for Valentines Day. I didn't even know he had packed my camera, and the Lens ball was a gift.Lighting
The Lens ball gives a great effect with the soft light colours of the sunset. It's so fun to play with the scape colour, the effects within the ball and the ball reflection. I did take this photo 20 times before I got it right.Equipment
This was shot on my Olympus OMD E-M5 MII with a 12-40mm f/2.8 and a large glass Lens Ball.Inspiration
It was the first time I had used the Lens ball so was playing around with the effects it made with the light.Editing
I always do a little post processing. It is an integral part of shooting in RAW even if it is sometimes minor enhancements. This particular photo didn't require a lot of post processing as the 'negative' was pretty good. I adjusted the shadows, cropped the image, and made a slight exposure correction. In my camera bag
I generally don't carry a lot. My OMD, my 12-40mm lens, a spare SD card, a battery for those long nights and my tripod.Feedback
Nudgee beach has amazing sunsets, you just need to be there time and time again until the colours are what you are searching for to get that shot! The image makes the ball looks like it's floating, which really adds to the effect (in fact, it is sitting on sand in the shallows.... Shhhh)
