Behind The Lens

Location

This photo was taken in the Physic Gardens in Cowbridge, South Wales.

Time

I went out to scout the area, as I was shooting a wedding here the following week, and this was shot around mid afternoon in November.

Lighting

It was an overcast day, so the light was quite dim and grey

Equipment

This was shot using a Mavic Pro

Inspiration

I knew from being here before of the symmetry in the gardens, and thought it would be a good opportunity to get the shot using my Mavic

Editing

I tweaked the shadows and highlights. As well as the colours

In my camera bag

I usually have my Canon 550D, with my Sigma 24-70 lens, and my canon 55-250 lens, a tripod, filters and Mavic Pro.

Feedback

When looking to take photographs of an area, think of all the shots that can be taken from differing viewpoints, not just eye level.
