Behind The Lens

Location

On the black sand beach in Vik, Iceland

Time

Afternoon just as the sun was setting.

Lighting

I was fortunate that people cleared off the plane before the sun completely set.

Equipment

Canon 60D, Canon 24-70 L series 2.8

Inspiration

It was on my bucket list to photograph this plane. I first saw it on Unlimited Iceland and knew I had to make the trip.

Editing

Post processing was just adjusting white balance, exposure and removing a few spots. Debris accumulated really fast on the lens in Iceland.

Canon 60D Canon 5D Mark l - Canon 24-7 2.8 L Canon 100-400 3.5 L
